🗝️ Hospitality Vocabulary

1. Welcome (v): To greet someone kindly.
2. Experience (v/n): To do or see something new.
3. Sightseeing (n): Visiting famous landmarks.

🧬 Grammar Lab: Putting it All Together

In an email, we use the Present Simple to describe what a guest can expect:

  • «We usually eat dinner at 7 PM.» (Habit)
  • «The museum opens at 9 AM.» (Schedule — The S Rule!)
  • «Do you often travel in the summer?» (Question)

📰 Literacy Task: The Digital Invitation

You are writing an email to a foreign student. You want to welcome them to your city for a week of sightseeing.

📝 Email Checklist:

  1. Start with a polite greeting (e.g., «Dear friend,»).
  2. Use Usually to describe a cuisine or tradition they will experience.
  3. Use the Affirmative to tell them about a famous landmark (Remember the -s!).
  4. Use a Negative sentence to tell them something they never need to worry about.
  5. Ask one Wh- Question about their travel journey.
